The Freedom Retreat

A retreat is defined as:

withdrawal to a quiet or secluded place; a quiet or secluded place in which one can rest and relax.

And that’s exactly what my retreats offer you.

A true retreat.

A place where you can rest, relax, ponder, consider, reflect, explore, inspire, share.

No requirements on you, no judgement, no checking in on what you hoped to achieve, no achieving required!

No wake up times, no 5 sessions a day, no learning here.

Just space. Time. Quiet. Freedom. Choice.

Jo’s retreats have unfortunately set the bar so high on retreats I’m not sure I’ll ever go to anyone else’s ever again.

Think.....

Gorgeous local Narberth Soap Co soaps in the bathrooms.

Big comfy sofas, deep bay window seats and views for miles.

Wanders into the countryside or around the grounds.

Delish Witch & The Wheel candles burning throughout the house.

One room with soft classical music playing.

Others where it’s silent, except for the sound of the birds outside.

A big garden to wander, sit, ponder, journal, read.

Get up at 11am if you want, go to bed at 8pm – whatever you need, you do.

Open fires, Aga-cooked toast, homemade meals.

Zero judgement, zero shame.

Questions.

I need to confirm our house booking in June, so please book your place by the end of May. If we don’t have enough people booked in, I’ll make a decision in June about whether we will be able to run the retreat.

I will arrange taxi/minibus transfers from and to Whitland station for those pals who intend to arrive by train. I will ask people to get to Whitland station for 1pm on Sunday for the minibus. The minibus will pick you up from the house at 10am on Thursday. You can also drive  – there is parking space for 5 cars.

Whitland train station is around 3 hours from Bristol. You can fly to Bristol or Cardiff Airports.

Yes of course! All pals’ dietary requirements will be catered for. You’ll be able to tell me this when you book.

If you need to cancel part way through the payment plan, your payment plan will stop at that point. If I can find someone to replace you, I will issue you with a refund, minus £150. If I’m not able to fill your space, I’m afraid I won’t be able to offer you a refund.

No, Dave will be staying at our home down the road and will come to the house to cook for us! So while he will be in the kitchen at meal times, he won’t be taking part in the retreat.

We will have the entire house to ourselves. We have the whole house and grounds to ourselves, as well as a private hot tub.

Pal, you and your beautiful brain are SO WELCOME. First of all, please know that any and all organised things (few as they are!) are 100% optional. Secondly, one of the living rooms will be a designated quiet zone during the day time, with the dining room as the chat zone, with quiet, relaxing music playing. If there is anything you are worried about, or would like me to consider, please just drop me an email or DM.

There will be some Prosecco, wine and beer in the fridge, along with Nosecco and Alcohol Free beers. There will also be lots of squash, juice, fizzy pop and other options.
